Care Instructions
Care Instructions
This tourniquet is built to last. It’s weather resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures.
In regards to storing your tourniqiet, its best to have it at the ready to not waste time when you need it most. We advise removing it out of the packaging so that it's ready to be used in a sudden emergency. Keep it in your medical kits or go bags.
All tourniquets include an instruction booklet on how to properly deploy the device.
Be advised:
Be sure to apply the tourniquet above the wound. Always seek professional medical care as soon as possible in the event of a serious injury. A tourniquet is designed to prolong life and mitigate severe hemorrhaging.
Although easy to use, we do advise on seeking training to know how and when to effectively apply a tourniquet. Check with your local community to enroll in a Stop the Bleed training course for hands on experience and training. Most of these classes are actually free.
Small in Size, Big on Safety
Built to withstand the harshest conditions, our tourniquets are reliable in any field. Attached to the aluminum windlass is a pen used to record the time of application.
Recording the time of application is important to notify EMS how long a tourniquet has been on a patient. The Grizzly Hills Tourniquet has you covered with a wax-tip pen attachment that conveniently detaches from the windlass.
Preparedness is a mindset and seconds matter when EMS isn’t on the scene. If a reliable tourniquet isn’t a part of your EDC, you’re doing it wrong.
Survive The Drive
The odds of an American dying from a Car Wreck during their Life Time is 1 in 93.
Become your own first responder during those critical moments. A tourniquet is a must have for your vehicles.
